We aim to help students understand commercial awareness and provide them with this crucial skill that many firms and corporations value during the recruitment process.
The difficulty lies in being able to comprehend what it is and how to develop it as an incoming student. The notion is intimidating to many students; we wish to demystify it, and thus aim to help students be more equipped to thrive in the commercial world. We aim to hold weekly meetings to discuss the developments in a diverse range of commercial sectors and analyse both the specific impact on the firm as well as widening our outlook to a broader perspective.
We aim to involve our members by creating a collaborative environment and build long-term relationships with corporate firms. We also aim to create research workgroups that follow the development of specific commercial news to develop in-depth knowledge in particular sectors.
