Requirements

  • Some demonstrable interest in finance and fixed income
  • Soft skills:
  • Interest in working on a bank trading floor
  • IT tools:
  • ExcelDesirable: VBA / Python programming skills highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Credit Trading in in the development of various systems and databases.
  • This will include, but is not limited to:
  • Statistical analysis
  • Portfolio trading
  • Electronic trading
  • Management reporting as well as other ad-hoc tasks designed to give the intern a tangible understanding of various roles within a trading team.
  • This requires some knowledge of financial instruments and an ability to manipulate data in Excel. An ability to code in Python is useful but not a prerequisite.
