Responsibilities

  • Marketing Acumen:
  • Possess knowledge of: Marketing tools used by the organization; Marketing roles and responsibilities; industry Marketing practices. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Coaches others on building key relationships and dependencies with other business functions; advises on the development of Marketing strategies and plans; analyzes the use of technology in current and planned Marketing strategies; contributes to the establishment of best practices for Marketing; develops successful implementation or improvement initiatives for Marketing; oversees a Marketing unit or department.
  • Partnership & Collaboration:
  • Possess knowledge of: Stakeholder identification and mapping; stakeholder analysis; stakeholder communication; stakeholder engagement techniques; stakeholder management effectiveness tools and methods; fluency in specialized business vernacular. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Engages with team members on a periodic basis and establishes credibility; analyzes stakeholder needs and partners with stakeholders to share relevant information; responds effectively and efficiently to requests; takes a "one team" approach to collaborate and accomplishes goals for the business.
  • Business Data Analysis:
  • Possess knowledge of: Business data analysis tools or software used by the organization; key concepts of business data analysis methods; data sources used by the organization and assigned function. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Writes analysis reports to assist decision making at the senior level; applies data analysis and data modeling techniques to establish, modify, and maintain business data structures and associated components; collects required business data through various data sources; investigates data requirements in the business data analysis process; utilizes designated data analysis software (both internal and external) to analyze business data.
  • Influential Communication:
  • Possess knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building with ability to connect seemingly unconnected parties; influencing styles. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Leads discussions with varying viewpoints; presents to and influences diverse audiences across divisions using appropriate frameworks/tools; leverages fact-based data and analytics insights from multiple finance and business domains to build a cohesive narrative, form an argument, organize thoughts, and present in a clear, concise, and meaningful way; demonstrates decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs; acts as a trusted advisor to diverse business partners, influencing them to act as needed to move the business forward; provides effective, timely feedback to others; seeks, internalizes, and utilizes feedback to make changes.
  • Proposals and Presentations:
  • Possess knowledge of: Presentation and proposal standards, formats, and guidelines; technical and legal requirements for proposals. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Researches the client base to gain a better understanding of customer wants and needs; assists in the effective delivery of proposals to attract customers; reviews proposals or presentations for technical accuracy and compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; assesses customer feedback and prepares responses; assists in designing the organization's proposals under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Product Awareness and Adoption:
  • Possess knowledge of: Product characteristics and attributes; product training methods; product demo techniques. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Solicits and summarizes customer feedback and experiences; participates in product launch planning and execution; selects appropriate training methods and tools for a specific hardware product training program; provides demos and instructions on basic functions and features of hardware products; researches available training and learning resources and analyzes effectiveness; summarizes and provides feedback on technical training materials and content.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Possess knowledge of: Organizational customer service processes and standards; customer issue documentation procedures. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Documents customer issues in a timely manner; resolves common customer problems; provides direct service to internal or external customers; responds to unexpected customer requests with a sense of urgency and positive action.
  • Digital Marketing Execution:
  • Possess knowledge of: Marketing and product positioning principles; organizational Marketing plan practices; Marketing support tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Implements Marketing support tools and vehicles; assists in documenting organization-specific practices for developing a Marketing plan; adheres to organizational standards and procedures for the current Marketing plan; researches locally relevant Marketing plans and strategies and their purpose and intent.
  • Market Research:
  • Possess knowledge of: Market research approaches and methodologies; market research reporting standards and formatting; market analysis techniques. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Selects appropriate investigative or analytical methods to assess a market research project; combines historical and current data to generate market research reports; assists in the planning, design, and implementation of a market research project; analyzes the validity and reliability of market research results; follows a certain structural research process for conducting market research.
  • End User Training:
  • Possess knowledge of: Organizational training procedures; client need assessment methods; training program development processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Participates in developing training programs and the training of end-users; conducts training programs by detailing the use of specific company products ; assists in determining clients' needs using proper assessment analysis; answers client support questions and escalates more complex questions; documents steps used during training for reference and improvement.
  • Product Expertise:
  • Possess knowledge of: Current products and service offerings; product support tools, literature, and documentation. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Revises standard processes to maximize product lines' efficiency and effectiveness; develops the criteria for assessing product performance; evaluates the benefits and competitive advantages of flagship products; supervises others in product planning, design, testing and delivery; teaches others how to use advanced technologies and tools for product lines; advises on details of multiple products and product groups.
