Requirements

  • A self-starter and strong team player with ability to work well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Financial modeling experience would be desired.
  • Knowledge of accounting (ability to interpret financial statements) and solid understanding of capital structure and credit metrics is essential.
  • Knowledge of general capital markets as well as interest in corporate bond markets.
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are a must.
  • High regard for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Debt Capital Markets co-op student will be responsible for performing financial analysis, drafting market commentary, updating and maintaining databases, assisting in the preparation of client presentations, coordinating weekly pricing and providing general support to the debt capital markets group.
