Requirements

  • Must-have:
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to meet assigned responsibilities.
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize while multi-tasking during tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a “can-do” attitude, who is able to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong writing skills, and the ability to capture meeting notes and key takeaways for distribution to the team.
  • Nice-to-have:
  • Experience using Salesforce (CRM).
  • Previous exposure to Bloomberg.
  • Ability to speak/write French.
  • Please note: To be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
  • Be returning to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Support teammates in delivering high quality, accurate work within short timelines.
  • Assist in the analysis and preparation of client reporting and respond to adhoc requests from both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Research, create and maintain presentation materials (charts, PowerPoint slides, data analysis, etc.).
  • Update CRM system (Salesforce) to capture key business development activities.
  • Identify ways to automate and implement process improvements.
  • Attend internal investment calls/meetings; familiarize yourself with the many PH&N & RBC GAM investment strategies (fixed income, equities, alternatives).
