Requirements

We're looking for peopleindividuals who are interested in investment processes and quantitative methods, and who enjoy problem solving. Our goal is to teach you what we do and how we do it. An honours degree or equivalent – we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade
You will be in your penultimate year of study. Unfortunately we no longer accept applications from final year students considering further studies (i.e. Masters) upon completion of undergraduate course

Responsibilities

As an intern at Schroders, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex challenges problems that require creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to take on new projects.
This Programme will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and how Solutions operates within it. You'll be given introductory training and opportunities to network with people across the business.
During your internship you will be assigned to one of our specialist teams within Solutions which could include:
Pensions;
Insurance;
Liability Driven Investments and others.
Some of your tasks may include:
Supporting with Investment strategy analysis for clients
Constructing portfolios matching the risk and return profiles of clients
Improving Excel databases, coding in VBA and preparing client presentations
Taking part in impactful projects with other interns on themes like sustainability
