Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or relevant degree at an accredited college or university
  • Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields
  • Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites
  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Master of Science degree program in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant degree at an accredited college or university
  • Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Engineering interns may be responsible for:
  • Selecting and specifying equipment
  • Preparing flow or detailed system piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Performing system and equipment sizing calculations
  • Establishing facility design requirements and develop the system safety basis
  • Reviewing supplier designs
  • Preparing ventilation and instrumentation diagrams
  • Performing corrosion and erosion evaluations for systems and equipment
