Responsibilities

  • The PK/Transport group within DMPK is seeking a highly motivated graduate student interested in the in vitro to in vivo translation of apparent permeability of Beyond Rule of 5 compounds in intestinal organoids and MDCK cell lines. The intern will work with PK/Transport scientists on the growth and maintenance of intestinal organoids and measurement of apparent permeability using different incubation conditions as well as PBPK modeling.
  • The intern will have an opportunity to help establish new methods of predicting oral bioavailability related to BRO5 compounds. The summer intern is expected to give a formal presentation at the end of the program. Minimum duration of the internship is 3 months, however start date and end date can be flexible.
