Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2024 - May 2025
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for Charter Sponsorship

  • Problem solving abilities
  • Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Entry level SQL or Python
  • Experience visualizing data in tools such as tableau, looker, power BI or visualizing with python libraries such as plotly or ggplot in R
  • Familiarity with cloud computing tools and concepts (e.g. AWS, Azure, Spark)
  • Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and CI/CD processes
  • Familiarity with digital platform and software development practices

  • You’re a motivated rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:
  • Computer Science
  • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It’s a full-time, 10-week commitment from May 29, 2024, through August 2, 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Intern will work with creating event-tagging requirements for our digital platforms to enable data insights that serve our technicians in the field and our agents in our call centers.
  • Intern will learn to work in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) process utilizing gitlab and CLI tools to work in development and production environments to deliver reporting solutions and insights for new digital platform feature releases.
  • Intern will learn how to visualize realtime data, as well as how to query and aggregate data in our cloud environments (AWS) to do ad-hoc analysis and insight delivery.
