Requirements

  • Required Education:
  • Currently enrolled and completed at least 3 years of PhD program in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics)
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and Pytorch/Tensorflow.
  • Record of achievement, including at least one high-impact first author publication or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with computer vision and medical imaging.
  • Preferred Majors:
  • Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or related field

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will work on a cross-functional and impactful study. Our summer intern will be part of a group of machine learning scientists and clinical scientists working on different areas of respiratory diseases to develop AI methods/models for the analysis of imaging and non-imaging data, with focus on new biomarker discoveries and disease progression modeling. There is an expectation to collaborate on publications, and present results at internal and external scientific conferences.
