  • Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
  • Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
  • Required majors:
  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Required skills:
  • Knows basic and some specialized engineering techniques
  • Familiar with searching technical literature
  • Skilled with use of word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications
  • Previous experience in the job duties listed, either through coursework or industry/academia
  • Participation in student organizations and/or other leadership experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Desire GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
  • Hands-on ability/experience with electro-mechanical and small-scale fluidic/pneumatic systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts
  • Completed at least 2 years of college/university to be eligible for the program

Responsibilities

  • Learns to use company concepts, policies, and procedures, familiar with and follows standard practices
  • Normally receives detailed directions on all work
  • Makes suggestions to improve work processes. Assists in producing patentable inventions
  • Works on projects of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Participates in technical team activities
  • Presents and discusses data within the group
  • Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time
