Requirements

  • Required Education:
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related.
  • Will have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework at an accredited college/university.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Organic Chemistry, Synthesis and Methodology.
  • Experience in HPLC and other analytical techniques (e.g., MS), MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word, (ChemDraw preferred. Other programs such as Spotfire a plus.)
  • Skill of data summarization and presentation is desired.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an organic chemistry lab preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute new high throughput screening strategies developed for specific late metal-catalyzed cross-coupling chemistries.
  • Scale and validate hits from screening using Organic Synthesis techniques for the goal of publications.
  • Optimize screening strategies for late metal-catalyzed cross-coupling chemistry within the context of using of high high-throughput chemistry techniques.
