Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, graduating between December 2023 and August 2024
An interest in designing and building systems utilizing open source software and automation
Desire to learn how cloud infrastructure, systems and software interact in a large scale environment
Some experience building and configuring any Linux distribution (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, etc)
1 or more years of experience with modern programing languages (Python, Go, Rust, Java, etc)
Knowledge of version control systems (git, github, bitbucket etc)
Bonus Points:
Hands on experience using AWS, GCP, Azure or similar
Deployed and configured infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad
Understanding of networking protocols and practices, such as IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP and Load Balancing
An active github account; raising issues, pull requests or repos that demonstrate your personal projects

Responsibilities

Develop sophisticated systems that automate the build, test, and operation of our infrastructure so that we can focus our attention on the things that matter
Work with talented software teams to optimize performance, and increase reliability of our applications, ensuring our infrastructure doesn’t skip a beat
Build comprehensive self service functionality that lets our software engineers move faster
Design and build our tools for monitoring and alerting to administer and comprehend increasing numbers of services
