Requirements

  • At least 2 years of undergraduate education completed.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PHD degree program.
  • Preferred Education
  • Some graduate school completion
  • Area of Study: Studying a technical field degree (e.g., computational biology, engineering, computer science, etc.) or enrolled in a humanities/social science program with a quantitative focus (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, public health, etc.)
  • Required Experience and Skills
  • Candidates must be able to commit to full-time remote employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2024
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Fluent in at least one analytic programming language (Python, R, SAS)
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience presenting to audiences with broad expertise
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently
  • Preferred Skills
  • Fluent in R or Python
  • Expertise in machine learning methodologies
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Familiarity with a web application framework (e.g., Shiny, Streamlit, Dash)
  • Experience conducting healthcare or life science research

Responsibilities

  • Review literature and other resources to gain knowledge of subject area
  • Gain familiarity in methodologies to analyze Real World Data assets (e.g., medical claims datasets, electric health records)
  • Process data in preparation for analysis
  • Use analytic tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL) to conduct statistical / machine learning analyses to derive insights
  • Present findings to team and key stakeholders
