Requirements

  • Progress towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or relevant fields
  • Familiarity with ML concepts, NLP, and text analytics methods and packages
  • Advanced Python coding skills and hands on experience with data analysis packages such as Pandas and machine learning packages such as Scikit Learn
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Hands on experience in developing end-to-end ML pipelines for solving real problems
  • Knowledge and experience of different deep neural network architectures (RNN, CNN, seq2seq/Transformers), and Large Language Models
  • Hands on experience in deep learning development platforms such as Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch
  • Experience with big data technologies - parallel processing techniques and Apache Spark, NoSQL/SQL databases
  • Experience in working with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, etc.

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully.

Responsibilities

  • - Exploration of data Science opportunities across RBC Insurance business.
  • - Exploratory data analytics, preparation, and integration of large and various types of data (structured/non-structured).
  • - Conducting, documentation, and reporting of advanced analytics and data science experiments.
  • - Building and productionization of the AI/ML solutions using enterprise MLOps technologies.
