Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • No prior experience in finance is required, but a keen interest in Investment Banking is requested.
  • Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical and professional standards.
  • Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel preferred
  • Proactive and highly motivated
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrated leadership (i.e., sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, and philanthropy, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Work within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior banker
  • Participate in due diligence sessions and communications with deal team members
  • Manage several projects at once and work effectively in a team environment
  • Perform complex financial modeling and valuation of assets and companies
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the energy industry as well as the overall financial markets
  • Prepare external client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities
  • Develop a general understanding of TD Securities’ product and service offerings
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Establish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank.
