Requirements

  • Applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering (with an emphasis on electrical systems) or a degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, and must be entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school
  • Knowledge of electrical analysis software (i.e. ETAP, Easy Power, Dapper / Captor) and AGI and/or Visual Pro required
  • Knowledge of Revit is preferred
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

  • The summer internship offers exposure to a variety of engineering experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, supporting aesthetically pleasing lighting designs with technically competent analysis
  • designing the power distribution and/or lighting design for commercial, institutional or healthcare facilities
  • performing electrical engineering design calculations
  • researching code issues and working with City, State and County officials
  • analyzing reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work
  • using engineering and design software to complete your work

The summer internship is typically 12 weeks in length, beginning on or before June 2, 2025, through mid-August, depending on your schedule.

What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
