The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
Who is eligible to apply for the Summer Nurse Internship?
The internship is for students graduating in December 2025 and May 2026.

What qualifications are required to apply for this position?
Applicants must be graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026, have a GPA of at least 2.5, and have completed a clinical rotation within one year of completing their nursing program.
Is a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required?
Yes, applicants must have a current BLS for Healthcare Provider Card from the American Heart Association.
What kind of patient care skills will the interns be expected to demonstrate?
Interns are required to demonstrate basic nursing procedures and technical nursing skills appropriate for the age and/or development of the patients served on their assigned unit.
What interpersonal skills are necessary for this internship?
The role requires interpersonal skills necessary to comfort patients, family members, and communicate effectively with other patient care providers.
Will there be mentorship provided during the internship?
Yes, interns will be partnered with an RN who will develop and supervise their experience while retaining full accountability and responsibility for patient care.
Are there any software skills required for this position?
Yes, the ability to work with PC hardware, familiarity with basic elements of a Windows environment, and comfort with learning new applications are required.
