Responsibilities

  • Responsible for utilizing the skills and knowledge acquired during undergraduate education in a formal health care setting. The role is designed to provide the intern with opportunities to develop a practical understanding of financial and administrative interrelationships in a healthcare organization; further the development of a code of personal and professional ethics and dedication to the high ideals and standards which are essential for a career in health care finance. Improve understanding of the concepts and principles of the healthcare management continuum presented in a workplace environment. Strengthen critical-thinking skills judgment problem-solving presentation and administrative skills. Develop goals for personal and professional development.
