Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • On the SOA Exam track
  • Possesses critical-thinking skills, strong attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and eager to learn with ability to take initiative
  • Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word.
  • Behaviors:
  • Good verbal communication skills. Maintains a high level of professionalism with clients and establishes a positive rapport with every caller.

Responsibilities

  • Completes cost estimates and data analysis with minimal guidance from manager
  • Prepares financial exhibits, data, letters, presentations and other client deliverables
  • Collaborates with team on projects and workflow including training
  • May attend client meetings with consultant actuary
  • Special projects or assignments as instructed by manager
