Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's: Bachelor's degree required in a directly related field
OR Master's: Enrolled in or recent graduate of a MBA or other Master's level program with an accredited college or university
Typical Experience:
1 year recent relevant experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of current issues affecting the healthcare industry desired, as is awareness of applicable legal and accreditation requirements, standards and guidelines
Must have communication (written, verbal and presentation), problem solving and analytical skills required to formulate and recommend creative solutions to diverse and complex problems.
Computer skills also required, including use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Organization and prioritization are skills required.
Assignments may consist of considerable complexity and variety, which require the application of independent judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities

Works in acute care hospitals at CPMC in San Francisco which has 3 hospital campuses. Sutter Health is an integrated, not-for-profit health care system. Gains experience and develops an in-depth understanding of operations and strategic initiatives through project work and direct participation in management activities. Responsibilities include, providing services to the day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area, participating in projects and programs appropriate to the needs of the assigned area, participating in the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives, conducting research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action.
