The ideal candidate for the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern position should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. They should have intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Visio, and be familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles. Additionally, they should possess a natural curiosity for problem-solving, the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, and effective communication skills to work with different people and functions.

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Badger Meter will collaborate with the New Product Development team, design assembly fixtures, work with 3rd party vendors, conduct root cause analysis and lean tools, create time studies and process maps, and implement solutions to improve yield on the production line.
