Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering and/or a related discipline.
  • Experience in flight controls, control law development/support,
  • Experience in Simulator Development and Validation.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Desired Skills:
  • HP Programming experience with MATLAB (Simulink)
  • Flight Control Systems/Vehicle Management System experience
  • Experience developing software architecture and development plans for an air vehicle OFP

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will develop and maintain safety critical control law software in accordance with applicable software development processes. Perform flying qualities analysis and ensure that control laws satisfy flying qualities requirements for required flight conditions, aircraft loadings and environmental conditions. Support flight manual development by defining operating limits, normal and emergency procedures, and system descriptions. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aeronautical engineering, model-based design software, Simulink MatLab. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
