Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a PhD student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong background in wireless signal processing using Wi-Fi CSI.
  • Broad knowledge of machine-learning, deep-learning algorithms, and state-of-the-art methods.
  • 2+ years programming experience using Python and proficiency in PyTorch.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desired Qualification:
  • Experience of smart home sensing using Wi-Fi CSI/RSSI.
  • Experience of using Nexmon Wi-Fi CSI extraction tool.
  • Publication records in leading venues (SenSys, IPSN, MobiSys, MobiCom, IMWUT, IROS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel Wi-Fi-based perception algorithms using signal processing and AI-based techniques for improved context awareness.
  • Evaluate the performance of the solution.
  • Summarize the findings, publish a high-quality research paper, and submit a patent application.
  • Show a proof-of-concept demo.
