Candidates must be enrolled in or entering a PhD program in computer science, have expertise in areas like NLU, CV, ML, DL, and optimization algorithms, proficiency in Python, Java, C/C++, Spark/Hadoop, PyTorch/Tensorflow, experience in data analytics and production applications, and ideally have experience with medical data and large scale AI training.

The AI Science Intern at GE Healthcare will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to automate clinical tasks, analyzing data to meet accuracy requirements, building prototypes for high-performance AI algorithms, proposing new deep learning capabilities, and researching emerging technology trends to support product development.

You will be working with top researchers and domain experts in the field of AI for health to develop new deep learning (e.g., vision foundational models, large language model) solutions and to prepare research publications for leading AI venues.
