Requirements

  • To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior, senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
  • Preferred concentration of study: Business, Marketing, or Communication
  • Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are a must. Also, the ability to work independently is a requirement
  • Prior automotive experience (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on competitors in the fleet industry, focusing specifically on Mercedes-Benz passenger car competitors, providing valuable insights into market trends, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Organize and actively participate in brainstorming sessions aimed at identifying innovative opportunities to boost sales for the Mercedes-Benz passenger car fleet team, fostering a collaborative and strategic approach to business development.
  • Take charge of crafting professional customer presentations, meticulously presenting product offerings, and compellingly selling the customer on the brand, ensuring a polished and persuasive representation of Mercedes-Benz within the fleet industry.
  • Develop an Alternate Sales strategy presentation, articulating the department’s direction for internal stakeholders, effectively communicating strategic initiatives, objectives, and anticipated outcomes, contributing to cohesive alignment within the organization.
  • Engage in continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, and applying newfound knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of research, presentations, and strategic planning within the Mercedes-Benz Alternate Sales team.
