Requirements

  • A proactive, professional approach, positive attitude at all times, outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, great teamwork skills, along with a commitment to practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient care is required.
  • If you think you have these skills and wish to apply for an Internship at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals, you must be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS). Applicants must be a MRCVS by the date the internship starts, and ideally by the date of application and interview.
  • A minimum of twelve months experience working as a qualified Veterinary Surgeon in small animal practice in the UK is desirable, and most candidates should have a previous rotating internship in a specialist hospital.

  • Our internship programme aims to nurture the best and brightest Veterinary Surgeons to serve as the foundations and grassroots for future generations as well as prepare them for advanced postgraduate training programmes such as residencies.
