Requirements

  • The post holder must be *eligible to undertake and complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst developing the skills and confidence to provide quality administrative support as a member of The Christie School of Oncology.
  • (*to be eligible for this Apprenticeship you must have resided in UK for the last three consecutive years and must not have completed Level 3 Business Administration or similar).

Responsibilities

  • General office administration including photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Communicate with all colleagues in a professional, clear and concise manner.
  • Meet and greet attendees and speakers at School of Oncology events.
  • Take telephone queries relating to any events or programmes and inform appropriate personnel as required and in a timely manner.
  • Invest in your personal development to ensure you fulfill learning criteria for Apprenticeship and be proactive in seeking feedback from others and ensure mandatory and essential training is up to date.
  • Work with agility to meet the needs of the School of Oncology.
  • Undertake identified administrative tasks commensurate with this role

What is the salary for the Apprentice Education Administrator role?

The starting salary for this role is £22,308 during the 18-month training/apprenticeship period, which will increase to Band 3 (£24,071 - £25,674) upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
