Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, with completion of sophomore year preferred
  • Knowledge to perform design and construction calculations, prepare material and equipment specifications, and provide preliminary sketches and notes for drawing.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and BIM based packages.
  • Good graphic, communication, verbal, and presentation skills are intricate parts of this position.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares drawings for projects, including conceptual design, space planning, drawing layout, development of details, construction documents, coordination with other disciplines, and construction administration.
  • Assist in determining design criteria, drawing sequence and presentation, sizing various system components and refining rough sketches and notes to include material, furniture, and casework elements.
  • Will be working on all phases of company projects, such as: client relationships, design, specifications, project team coordination, construction documents, code analysis and consultant interaction.
  • Gathers and prepares information regarding cost and time estimates, material requirements, and completion times.
