Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Works well with others and independently
  • Ability to understand archival standards, concepts, and best practices.
  • Takes direction well and can follow established workflows and procedure.
  • Works efficiently with ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Strong interest in art history, gemology, and jewelry preferred.
  • Education:
  • Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field with a 3.0 overall GPA minimum
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within the last 2 years) graduate students, library science or related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

  • Updating metadata into DAM system.
  • Organizing/Sorting Archive’s physical collections including paper/object collections.
  • Assist VP and Department Managers in day-to-day tasks and needs.
  • Assist with research for new acquisitions and special projects in the department.
