Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in engineering or architecture.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Experience in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding and comfortable working at heights above ground level.
  • Interest in building construction and engineering practices.
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals, including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.
  • Assist with responses to architect or contractor submittals and RFI’s.
  • Assist with field performance testing of existing buildings during field investigations.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of drawings, sketches, and construction documents within REVIT or AutoCAD.
  • Job site visits to review ongoing building envelope construction, take photos and field notes and assist with the preparation of field reports.
  • Assist with maintaining project records.
