Requirements

  • Qualifications You Bring:
  • This internship would be ideal for students with a focus of academic studies in: Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Communications, Data Analysis, Programming, and similar majors or any with interest and applicable skills / experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing.
  • Organizational skills, ability to work on several projects simultaneously, track information and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office suite of products with emphasis on Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter.
  • Interest in current events, local government, and environmental issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Planning and facilitation of group processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project request collection, inventory, and/or prioritization processes.
  • Create reporting for assigned processes.
  • Assist with communications via the internal SharePoint site and over email.
  • Help to manage programs through project tracking and forecast updates.
