Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, graduating Winter 2024 or Spring 2025
  • Previous customer-facing work or internship experience, such as customer service, sales, recruiting, or similar roles
  • A track record of excellence and distinction, such as leadership roles, awards/scholarships, or other personal accomplishments
  • Excellent communication skills & professional phone presence
  • Driven to make an impact and exceed sales goals
  • The ability to work out of our Scottsdale, AZ or Chicago, IL office (out-of-state students are welcome!)
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for helping Paradox build relationships and drive business growth through new client acquisition. In this role, you will:
  • Become an expert on our product and HR technology industry
  • Use creative prospecting strategies to build a pipeline of potential customers (we call them clients)
  • Cultivate sales leads through consultative, strategic conversations
  • Connect with potential clients through outbound cold calling, emailing, and building professional connections
  • Meet or exceed weekly goals by booking qualified meetings for Account Executives
