Requirements

  • Are in full time education at university, and will be returning to university/your studies to complete your undergraduate degree following the placement
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the placement
  • Familiar with using AutoCAD software
  • Familiar with the latest Microsoft Collaborative tools (SharePoint, Teams)
  • Ability to read technical drawings related to building services and general building information
  • Ability to facilitate the conversion of traditional paper records into electronic formats
  • Good level of attention to detail
  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience within Construction/Facilities Management industry

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive records of building services, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Facilitate the conversion of old paper records into electronic formats, utilizing CAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a logical and efficient foldering structure for both digital and physical records.
  • Streamline data retrieval processes to enhance the team's access to critical information.
  • Systematically sort and categorize old drawings, contributing to the development of an organized drawing database.
  • Work collaboratively with the Estates Team to provide support in various administrative and organizational tasks related to records and CAD management.
