The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of camera technologies, optics, and image sensors, along with prior experience in building and testing optomechanical or optoelectrical systems. Proficiency in software such as C++, MATLAB/Python, and Git/Github is also required, along with the ability to effectively communicate and document technical information.

The candidate will work on designing and validating imaging hardware for Zoox's autonomous vehicle fleet, including cameras, lenses, image sensors, and illuminating systems. They will also collaborate with team members to create custom lab setups and automation software.
