Requirements

  • Must possess, or be working towards, a PhD or Master's degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, physics, statistics, or another qualifying field
  • Exceptionally mathematically proficient
  • Has a hunger to work on some of the most complex mathematical problems we find
  • Must enjoy problem solving as this is at the forefront of the role
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
  • Eager to continue to learn and grow your skills
  • Fluent with tools such as Python and R
  • You have the ability to think outside of the box and get creative with analytical approaches
  • Driven to act on a thought or idea as soon as it comes to mind
  • Proven track record of success within candidates field of specialty
  • Must be ok with taking risks, making mistakes, and learning what to do differently next time

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities in the markets we trade
  • Construct or enhance market models
  • Develop analyses and simulations
  • Implement models in our trading systems
  • Test models in real time
  • Collaborate with traders and software developers
