Requirements

Ability to relate and communicate with internal and external clients in a professional manner.
Strong comprehension and creative visualization skills.
Use creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills in content development.
Exert personal effort through challenging work to achieve results.
Seek out responsibilities/self-starter.
Create and edit video.
Use graphic design tools to create visual elements.
Strong computer skills, including:
PC/Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent
Not required but a bonus:
Construction experience; and
Basic understanding of adult learning principles
Enrollment in accredited Bachelors Degree program or higher, and coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity

Responsibilities

The Learning and Development (L&D) internship includes one individual project and collaboration on a team project. Expect to have practical, firsthand experience and training within Learning & Development serving 4,000+ employees. Work alongside talented L&D professionals on projects that are impactful and meaningful. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interview subject matter experts or conduct other research to develop instructional content.
Research, analyze, and synthesize information/data to provide recommendations for learning solutions.
Assist in the creation of eLearning and participate in instructional design initiatives.
Collaborate with other interns.
Collaborate with L&D team.
Attend L&D meetings.
