  • This internship would be ideal for students with a focus of academic studies in: Communications, marketing or videographyor any with interest and applicable skills / experience.
  • Basic understanding of videography and editing.
  • Basic understanding of the development of digital media.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Understanding of how to tailor content to a broad audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products.
  • Interest in current events, local government, and environmental issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of training videos, including planning, filming, and editing.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of video content for web-based learning courses, and internal communications.
  • Assist with communication and engagement strategies and planning.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop engaging training materials.
  • Assist in setting up and taking down video and sound equipment.
  • Assist with asset management and communication and engagement planning.
