Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills.

  • Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
  • Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Takeda.

Responsibilities

  • The project will be related to product and process impurities Assessment of Residual Impurities in Cell therapy programs and leveraging key technologies and techniques to optimize these assessments. The selected intern will participate in some of the lab activities like learning the ELISA, capillary western blot, cell culture, design of the experiments, execution, and data analysis, sharing the results in team meetings. This exercise is intended for the intern to have an understanding and appreciate some of the processes that are used during drug development. The internship will also promote the interaction of the intern with and learning from peers and leaders across the team. The intern will be involved in solving a real-world business challenge for the organization which is detection of impurities in Cell therapy products so that the product does well in clinical trials without any side effects.
