Requirements

  • Undergraduate student in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, microbiology, or related field.
  • Completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High motivation to learn and contribute.
  • Previous experience with cell culture and aseptic technique is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • You will get hands-on experience and training on:
  • General laboratory operations including aseptic technique
  • Media preparation
  • Cell isolation techniques using MACS technology
  • Expanding T cells in culture
  • Characterization of T cells via flow cytometry
  • You will be responsible for:
  • Conducting research and reviewing documents for project preparation
  • Initiating and providing support for project related experiments
  • Documenting experiment protocol, data, and results in a laboratory notebook
  • Performing analysis on data generated from experiments
  • Generating a poster from analyzed data and presenting it at a poster exhibition at BaseCamp
