Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or other applicable Engineering field.
  • Previous experience/internships in pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, or other regulatory industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Through both analytical and hands-on work, support developing engineering solutions with a high level of detail in response to development, hardware, manufacturing, and operational needs.
  • Support the development of requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in the design of process and equipment to meet specifications.
  • Comprehensively document designs, trials, and other work, update drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM’s) through Change Orders.
  • Present drawings and project progress to peers and management.
  • Participate in process hazard/risk management reviews and modify equipment/designs as necessary to ensure safe operation and appropriate specifications are captured.
  • Execute testing to ensure product/equipment/processes meet all requirements and specifications.
  • Work with and learn from others, including interns, team members, technical experts, and mentors.
  • Work with a variety of vendors to provide parts and services.
