Requirements

Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
3.0 GPA or above
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or related experience
AutoCAD and / or Microstation experience
Experience or exposure to North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) plans preparation and design standards
Specific interest in Transportation / Roadway Design

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
Prepare and revise plan documents details
Collect and prepare data for evaluation
Perform engineering tasks with the use of computer-assisted design software and equipment
Provide support to engineering and project management associates
