Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Clinical Science, Engineering, or quantitative data science discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics/Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science) required, advanced degree preferred.
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Experience implementing reproducible research practices (literate programming, version control) and related processes.
Experience ensuring data and code quality by applying best practices working with databases and technologies.
Experience in one or more statistical or advanced analytics programming languages/tools (R, Python, SQL, KNIME, etc.) and data visualization tools (R, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred.
Proficient software skills across standard programs.
Excellent written and verbal proficiency in the English language.
Strong analytic abilities to understand, digest, and summarize complex data to different audiences.
Understand complex and evolving disease landscapes and the underlying medical environment/patient journey.
A healthy disdain for the status quo and a willingness to question existing practices to identify better alternatives.
Succeed and be effective in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where continuous innovation is requisite to success.
Strong data visualization/data storytelling skills, written/oral communications skills, and project management/organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Develop deep and comprehensive understanding of data sources in hand and advise on their appropriate use.
Establish and maintain clinical background knowledge within the context of specific disease areas and their evidence needs.
Perform high quality advanced analytics under the mentorship of Clinical Insights team leaders, including:
Robust clinical study development and methods selection, research hypothesis generation, trend analyses, and other insights.
Data processing plans using data science and engineering best practices.
Appropriate identification, application, and innovative use of analytics techniques.
Effectively and creatively present results/findings including, but not limited to, business intelligence dashboards, custom reports, and presentation decks to internal and external stakeholders.
Robust clinical study development and methods selection, research hypothesis generation, trend analyses, and other insights.
