Responsibilities

  • As a Clinical Photographer, you will be providing a high-quality photographic service for one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. You will work as part of a progressive, collaborative team providing standardised clinical photographs for medical records, teaching and publication.
  • In addition, you will provide corporate and public relations photographs for the Trusts Communications Team that can appear on the Trust’s social media channels, the BBC, Oxford Mail and beyond.
  • Clinical Photographers provide comprehensive, standardised high quality clinical photographs which form as part of patients’ medical records, (and with consent) teaching and publication.
  • Day to day, Clinical Photographers work either from a dedicated clinical photography studio, on the wards, in surgical theatre or outpatient clinics. No two days are the same.
  • Clinical Photographers photograph a range of clinical subjects such as (but not limited to):
  • Dermatological conditions
  • Chronic wounds
  • Non-accidental injuries / safeguarding enquiries
  • Dental / facial reconstructions
  • Photographs during surgical procedures
  • Pre and post operative surgery
  • Clinical Photographers At Oxford Medical Illustration Also Provide High Quality Public Relation Images For The Trusts Communications Team And External Partners Such As
