Requirements

  • Applicants must be in a degree seeking program.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a current passport, and be willing to travel as required.
  • Applicants must have at least three (3) work semesters available (Summer, 2024 - Spring, 2025 - Fall, 2025).
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):
  • The degree should include a specialization in aviation.
  • Flight experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A successful candidate should be highly motivated with the desire to learn and have a passion for safety.

Responsibilities

  • The Co-Op Flight Safety Investigations responsibilities include providing support to the Flight Safety Accident/Incident Investigation Team, Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA), and Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).This position will include exposure to the full investigative process, in which a successful candidate will be responsible for collecting factual data, such as damage data, injury information, meteorological conditions, crew background, human performance data, flight recorder data, and other relevant investigative data.
