Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities:
  • Experience with computer-based systems and ideally experience with process control systems.
  • Able to take instructions as the individual will be working on tasks that are detail-oriented and is able to adapt to “Right the First time” mindset.
  • Has strong communication skills and able to think analytically when facing various situations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Packaging Material sampling and testing
  • Ensures lot release timelines will be met
  • Documents work according to cGMP and cGDP. Adheres to established regulations and follows cGMP established by site. Reports abnormalities and deviations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enters testing results in OpsLIMS
  • Adheres to safety standards and identifies unsafe situations / habits and escalates appropriately.
  • Maintains and improves lab areas according to predefined standards (5s)
  • Coordinates work within the team
  • Work performed in a highly regulated (FDA, EMEA, MHRA, PMDA etc.) environment. Follow all applicable BI and BI Fremont Procedures
  • Performs repetitive and administrative tasks (e.g. filing, scanning, compiling)
