Requirements

  • Work experience is not required for this entry level position, but the successful applicant will be a sophomore or junior pursuing/majoring in (and excelling) a degree program Aviation Management, or a related field of study and interested in advancing career experience through on the job training.
  • Applicants must be able to:
  • Work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Balance multiple assignments
  • Handle confidential material appropriately
  • Demonstrate strong technical written and oral communication skills
  • Interact with internal workgroups of all levels
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel, and have experience with other applicable internet applications
  • Function effectively in a fast-paced environment and short-notice situations
  • Some intermittent overnight domestic travel may be required.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • The student co-op will assist the General Manager in developing, maintaining and implementing Delta’s compliance programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and generally-accepted standards of good practice. This role is compliance focused and involves assisting the team in ensuring programs meet and exceed federal, state, and local (US DOT, FAA, and Global Aviation Regulations) compliance at the corporate level.
