Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, International Affairs or related field.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL and data collection methodologies
  • Must be self-sufficient and complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented and perform well under pressure
  • Must be eager to accept responsibility and create value-added projects
  • Must demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor when interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Must be willing to travel for business up to 10% of the time (domestic and/or international)
  • Must be able to commit to three alternating work semesters
  • Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work with and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Protect Delta’s financial assets by ensuring compliance with Delta’s policies and procedures
  • Provide process engineering and internal consulting services
  • Investigate and prevent fraud or abuse of corporate ticketing products, SkyMiles loyalty accounts, and credit card transactions
  • Participate in data collection efforts for projects that impact cross-functional departments
  • Develop and implement fraud mitigation measures across a wide array of exposure areas
  • Develop both strategic and tactical plans that creates a safety-conscious environment that results in employee safety and well-being
  • Write and manage various data queries using SQL
