  • Qualifications:
  • Currently a full-time college student enrolled in a two-year or four-year college program and following a course of study leading to a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with emphasis in Business Administration, Public Administration, and/or Liberal Arts, or any field related to the hiring department's business.
  • Must be a full-time student maintaining a 2.5 GPA.
  • Intern must conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-going support for to CAMM with public records requests as well as DBE related tasks.
  • Obtaining the contractual documents requested in the public records email, scanning and printing the required files, logging the information into the database and distributing the documents to the Clerk’s office.
  • Inputting information into the DBE database.
  • Filing subcontract documents.
  • Assisting the front desk.

Mission & Purpose

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is Orange County’s primary transportation agency. OCTA was formed in 1991 through the consolidation of seven separate transportation agencies. A 17-member Board of Directors governs OCTA with the Caltrans District Director serving as the 18th member in an ex-officio capacity. OCTA Services Include: • Bus transit service • Metrolink rail service • 91 Express Lanes toll facility • Freeway improvements funding • Street and road improvements grants • Vanpool subsidies • Rideshare options
