Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites across the State
  • Previous intern or co-op experience in commissioning, energy audits, or other engineering functions
  • Possess solid problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a high-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects
  • Read and review mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Assist with ensuring that all systems and equipment are properly commissioned
  • Confer with project managers during planning, design, and construction phases
  • Observe project sites and document findings
  • Prepare reports and document project activities and data
  • Prepare analyses from collected data
  • Set up and help maintain project files and records
  • In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections
